Flu Vaccination time has arrived.
Expert advice this year is to have your influenza vaccination towards late April or May in order to have maximal protection over the winter months.
Saturday afternoon clinics will start on April 20th for flu vaccinations (and Covid boosters). Contact the clinic to make an appointment. Appointments available earlier if required.
Everyone is recommended to have a flu vaccination. They are free for adults over 65yrs, kids 6months to 5years and people with chronic disease (certain conditions only). We have private vaccinations available for all others. We do not charge you for the service only for the private vaccines.

If you hold a valid Medicare or Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veteran card and have had two or more face-to-face appointments with us in the past two years, you’re now eligible to register.
By registering in MyMedicare you can access new benefits, such as longer funded telehealth consultations with our practice.
Registration is voluntary. You can begin your registration online through Medicare Online or we can start the process for you at your next appointment.

Our practice
The Point Clare Medical Practice is a friendly, family-oriented, non-corporate general practice. It was founded by Dr. Jon Fogarty back in late 1979. Originally housed next to the dentist (where the vet now resides) it moved to its current premises at 63 BWD after a few years.
Our facility is complete with six private consulting rooms, one minor procedures room, an allied health room and a pathology collecting centre. Our convenient location is opposite the Point Clare Railway Station Car Park. We have car parking spaces at the rear of our building as well as wheelchair and pram access.
We are lucky to be situated in a converted cottage, flooded with natural light, where the feeling is warm and welcoming, rather than clinical. Come along and experience PCMP for yourself!

To best serve you, our facility has an onsite physiotherapist, psychologist and pathologist. Contact our centre regarding the availability and services provided by these specialists. We also offer enrollment in State and Territory recall systems as well as practice-based recalls.
